Welcome!

I am so happy that you're here.

My name is Kaylee and I am a Provisional Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists. I am also a travel enthusiast, a coffee drinker, a reader and a dog lover. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, swimming, watching live music and practicing yoga.

Authenticity and compassion are important to me, especially in the therapy room. My hope is to create an environment where you feel seen, heard and safe enough to share your deepest concerns. I can not only empathize with your struggles, but have been through my own. This allows me to truly understand how difficult and also rewarding it can be to overcome them. I would be honoured to accompany you on your journey to finding your inner resilience and making positive changes to cope with the challenges that life throws your way!

My Approach

My approach to therapy is both collaborative and integrative. This means that I utilize various therapeutic approaches in order to tailor treatment to the needs of each individual or couple. Some things that you can expect are:

  • We'll work together to create a comfortable, therapeutic space, where you can feel safe to talk about what is concerning you. Therapy will be at your pace and feedback is always encouraged in terms of what is/isn't working for you.

  • We'll explore the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours and how they may be impacting your well being. We may talk about where these thoughts and beliefs come from.

  • We'll utilize mindfulness strategies to help you live more in the present moment, rather than staying stuck in the future or the past, and to be kinder to yourself. We'll practice skills from various modalities to help you cope with what you're struggling with.

  • We'll explore your values - how you want to show up for yourself, in your relationships, at work/school etc. And explore committed actions to help you live more closely aligned with them.
